We are thrilled to see a top-notch execution of long-form illustrated narrative in the New York Times’s Snow Fall: The Avalanche at Tunnel Creek. It’s full of nice, fresh-feeling tricks, including the kind of A/B layers familiar to Mag+ readers, and built on a great story. The stark loop of blowing snow shows how simple but essential some design and moving image can be. Part two to come.
